VMed was made during the Covid-19 pandemic and, hence, are made with the words "Virus" and "Medical". We sell medical supplies to everyone while making sure it's available to everyone and anyone. We (will) sell masks, first aid kits, medical-use gloves, and much more coming. As of now, we only sell masks since we are still in the process of creating our company.
VMed's logo is the Rod of Asclepius (which is also known as the Staff of Aesculapius) with wings. The rod is a serpent-entwined staff and was wielded by Asclepius, the Greek god of healing and medicine. His rod is used as a symbol and logo for many medical/health organizations such as WHO (World Health Organization) and the EMS's "Star of Life". The Rod of Asclepius is sometimes confused with the Staff of Hermes, which, evidently, belonged to the Greek Olympian god, Hermes. Hermes was not the god of medicine, but the god of travel, thieves, trade, languages, wealth, and more. We have, however, combined the Asklepian rod and Hermes's staff (the rod with wings). We combined medicine with travel to show that it is possible to help out others in a time of need from far away.
VMed's slogan "A mask everyday keeps the virus away" was created from the English proverb "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". The proverb states that if one eats healthy food, they will remain in good health and not need to see the doctor as often as others who don't eat in a healthy way. And so, our slogan is stating the if you wear a mask at all times (especially indoors) there is a higher chance of you not getting the Covid-19 virus as opposed to those who don't.
